Making a positive
We strongly believe in corporate citizenship and responsibility - truly sustainable businesses are always closely involved with their communities; from engaging with schools to encourage safety on and around construction sites, to providing apprenticeships and vital first career steps for school leavers, to supporting local charities and sporting excellence.
Ark Build have been proud sponsors of Middlesex County Cricket Club since the 2011 season.
During this period we have built a tremendous relationship with the club and regularly attend matches at Lords and other fundraising events.
Ark Build’s association with Nicolas began in 2012 when we sponsored him in the Renault Clio Cup and continued through his European Touring Car Cup campaign in 2013 and onto the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) during the summer of 2015.
Nicolas, who lives with the neurological condition of Cerebral Palsy is the first disabled competitor to participate in the BTCC and is an inspiration to us all here at Ark Build. We chose to sponsor him because his determination encourages us all to strive for our own personal goals whatever the obstacles may seem and to face each working day and any challenges it may present, positively.
This community based Club has grown from 20 to 150 members over the last 8 years and now sees 300 individuals use its facilities each week.
Ark Build are proud to sponsor a Youth Club which offers its members a facility not only to learn the art of boxing but also discipline and respect for others.
Ark Build sponsored Wanstead & Snaresbrook Cricket Club’s first overseas tour to Jamaica with the objective of supporting the Courtney Walsh Foundation whose mission is to meaningfully change troubled young Jamaicans’ lives through cricket.
The Jamaican cricket legend, Courtney Walsh, personally helped organise the tour which not only included playing cricket matches but also involved exploring the natural beauty of the Caribbean Island.
