April 2011: Sponsorship of Middlesex County Cricket Club
Following on from a superb England Ashes victory down under, Ark Build Plc are proud to announce our sponsorship of Middlesex County Cricket Club for the 2011 season.
Middlesex play at Lords the spiritual home of English cricket. The Middlesex 1st XI includes England’s Ashes winning captain Andrew Strauss as well as England colleagues Steven Finn and Eoin Morgan.
As part of the deal, the new Ark logo adorns the Middlesex players’ strips for the club’s Twenty20, one-day and long-form matches. |

March 2011 : Ark Honoured
Ark Build Plc have been honoured as one of the top growth companies and join Europe’s 500 ranking of fast-growing, job-creating companies.
The award certificate was presented to Michael Finlay, one of the Company’s founders, by former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder at the European Parliament in Brussels.
Clive Cole, co-founder of the Company, was understandably delighted to be part of such exalted company.
Altogether, the companies honoured on the evening created almost 28,581 new jobs between 2007 and 2009, bringing their total employment to 175,671 in December 2009 and a total turnover of 37.566 billion Euros. |

We have just completed the refurbishment of the home of one of the Warner Estates oldest residents, being 102 years young. The resident and her family were delighted with the manner in which we undertook the works and took the trouble to write and thank us for our efforts. They were particularly impressed with how we worked in a quiet and friendly way, leaving no mess or disturbance whatsoever .

January 2010 : Ark Build plc save Wanstead’s historic camera club from closure
One of the oldest camera clubs in the UK has been saved from closure after an unexpected donation from Ark Build plc.
The Woodford and Wanstead Photographic Club looked set to dissolve after nearly 110 years, because its members were struggling to find the cash needed to fund meetings, competitions and equipment.
But the future of the society, which was founded in 1893, appears to have been secured after Michael Finlay, Managing Director of Ark handed over a gift of £5,000 to prevent its demise. .

Ark Build plc has been awarded a major Phase 2 decant
project that will see refurbishment of 60 properties
located on London Borough of Havering’s Mardyke
Estate.
Valued at up to £1million, the works form part
of a £55million regeneration project involving
other contractors which will include build of 550
new properties.

Contractors Scheme
Ark Build scored an excellent 35 points out of 40
for refurbishment works to 54 Cranley Gardens, London
- where high quality conversion of the existing property
was recently completed into 3 bedsits, 1 flat and
a maisonette.

“This is a great achievement, reflecting
our commitment to the Scheme’s core requirements
of carrying out projects in a safe, clean, orderly,
environmentally-considerate and respectful manner.
We will be registering all sites under the Scheme

An addition to the Grigoniene Family!
We are pleased to report that Aira, PA to
our Executive Team, had a baby girl –
Victoria on 17th January 2009.
Baby Victoria arrived a month early and the
very next day after Aira had left us temporarily
on maternity leave!
Mum and baby are both fine and we look forward
to seeing them both very soon.

premises based within the Loughton Business
Centre, Essex. The move of 70 staff into the
new building took place late December 08.
